The NWS in Charleston, WV has issued a Wind Advisory for the area until 1:00 PM today, when the highest wind gusts are possible.

The low-pressure that just moved through is progressing eastward where a cold front has passed. Behind the system, there is a chance of snow showers mixed in with rain as temperatures slightly warm later in the day. Little to no snow accumulations are expected. Windy conditions will continue to persist through Thursday morning. On Thursday, brief high-pressure returns before another strong system moves in on Friday. A low pressure will occlude and strengthen as it moves northeast toward the Ohio Valley on Friday. This will allow temperatures to warm back up to near 50 due to the warm front. As a result, rain is likely throughout the day. Once the cold front moves through Friday night into Saturday morning, chances for snow showers return. Little to no snow accumulation is expected again for this system. However, slight chances of snow showers remain all weekend.
