Forecast Discussion

Today will be a cold day with a small chance of a brief snow shower or two. Any accumulation from this would be minimal at best. Tonight and Thursday night will be frigid as a dry, arctic airmass moves into the area. Lows those nights will plummet into the single digits, so throughout the rest of the week and weekend, make sure to bundle up and wear extra layers if planning on heading out, especially during the evening. Another low pressure system rolls through Friday night into Saturday, which will bring more snow. Light snow accumulations (around 1-3″) are expected on top of the snow cover already in place from Winter Storm Blair earlier this week. This additional snow could once again cause travel difficulties Friday night and through the weekend. The forecast could change a bit as we move closer to the system’s arrival, so make sure to keep checking back for updates. In the meantime, stay warm!
