Sunny and dry weather continues with the coverage of a surface high-pressure system today. Elevated fire weather conditions are present as afternoon relative humidity will drop to the mid-to-upper 20s today, but thankfully winds won’t be too gusty. Daytime highs will be very pleasant in the mid-70s today and tomorrow.

An approaching surface low and cold front will become stationary tomorrow bringing showers into tomorrow night, and as the cold front starts to move through on Friday, showers and thunderstorms will be possible. We will see a slight drop in daytime high temperatures with this frontal passage, but thankfully it won’t be any lower than the mid-50s through the weekend. Saturday and Sunday expect high pressure to build in after the front, and we will see sunny and dry conditions return once again.
