An upper-level ridge and associated surface high pressure will remain over the region for a little longer before a cold front moves through Thursday evening into early Friday. With this comes a line of showers that could unfortunately make for a slightly wet Halloween night. Expected precipitation measurements from that system range from around one-tenth of an inch to a half inch at most. Afterwards, high pressure builds back into the area, bringing pleasant weather into the weekend, with highs on Friday and Saturday in the mid-60s. A warming trend begins by Sunday and continues into next week as temperatures rise back to above-seasonal levels.
