It has, and will continue to be, a quiet and (mostly) dry week here in Athens. Cloud cover does persist today in association with a low pressure system to our south and east, but those clouds will soon move out of the area. This will bring us sunny skies as we head into the weekend. In addition, there is a very small chance of a stray shower today, but certainly not enough to help with the ongoing drought across southeast Ohio. We soar back into the mid-to-upper 80s by Friday.
