Forecast Discussion
After a strong cold frontal passage overnight into Friday, we saw temperatures dip to a more seasonable range for this time of year. Since we saw such a dramatic temperature drop, blustery winds from the North were the trend. With upper level ridging taking over, we will catch a brief break in the clouds after a minor disturbance brings a slight chance for precipitation early in the morning on Saturday, which means parts of the area might wake up to some slick conditions. High pressure means that we will see pretty consistent conditions over the weekend, but temperatures are looking to climb into the low 50s on Saturday and even higher on Sunday. It’ll be a rather pleasant weekend overall, with our next chance for rain appearing early into the work week with a warm frontal passage.
