Forecast Discussion

A low pressure system is slowly making its way through the Ohio Valley this weekend. Luckily, majority of the precipitation has exited the region, but there is a slight chance of snow flurries early Saturday morning. After these flurries, the Athens region will remain dry for the rest of the weekend until early Tuesday morning. Another round of snow flurries is possible for the rest of this work week in the morning hours.

This weekend temperatures will remain in the lower 30s to 20s with high winds. Monday will be the day that temperatures begin to plummet. The high will not make it above the mid-20s, and the lows will stay around the upper teens with the possibility of it reaching single digits Wednesday morning.
