Forecast Discussion

Currently there are no active surface pressure systems in Ohio at the moment. High pressure, however, does remain over Athens which has kept our weather fairly calm compared to the rainy days this week. Athens is back under a Flood Watch issued by the National Weather Service in Charleston, WV. Rain is expected in this forecast between late Saturday night and early Sunday morning. Other than that, this weekend will be dry.

Interestingly enough, we will hit our high temperature Sunday morning and our low later in the day. An occluded low will pass through the Appalachian Mountains Sunday which will allow for air temperature to drop throughout the day. Other than even more early morning rain showers Wednesday, the upcoming week is looking to be pleasant except for cloudy skies!
