Forecast Discussion
A cloudless night will close out the first day of September. High pressure still remains dominant in our region, with a growing ridge only further inhibiting convection. A few clouds will pop in and out tomorrow, with warm temperatures still prevailing. More moisture will be pushed into the area from that ridge, making some periods of this weekend uncomfortable given the sunny and warm temperatures, combined with some greater humidity. Some morning fog is also possible due to rapid heating during sunrise.
Saturday evening will be more of the same, cloudless and calm. Sunday, like Saturday, will see mostly sunny skies, with temperatures crossing the 90 degree threshold. This pattern will likely continue into next week, with the ridge keeping temperatures hot and skies sunny. Humidity will become less of a nuisance after this weekend, but temperatures in the low-to-mid 90s will be a bit of a headache.
