Forecast Discussion
A large ridge will continue to sit over much of the United States for much of the forecast this week. Much of Tuesday will see plenty of sun and heat, but moving into Tuesday night and into Wednesday, clouds are expected to build as a minor shortwave aloft and a low-pressure system move eastward. Rain chances are minimal, and it’s not out of the question for a possible rumble of thunder or two Wednesday. Clouds will clear once more as zonal flow and high-pressure fill into the Ohio Valley region up until Friday. Saturday could see a larger trough aloft build as a cold front line and low-pressure moves over the state this weekend.
