Rain chances will exist on Tuesday but may primarily hit the region in the morning for brief amounts of time. Winds could remain between 5-10 mph tonight and tomorrow, gusting up to 15 mph, but the potential for severe weather is low and not a concern. Throughout Tuesday and Wednesday, the cold front line will continue to push southeastward towards Athens but may not move over the region until Thursday evening. A general cooling trend is expected to continue through the remainder of the week and into the weekend, though drier conditions are expected to return by this time as well.
