Forecast Discussion

Skies remain clear tonight ahead of an incoming low pressure system. Temperatures will drastically increase on Monday as the warm sector of the system enters the region. Clouds will increase through the day as the cold front of the system approaches. Snow is likely as the cold frontal boundary passes over on Tuesday. The combination of cold dry air from the cold front and the upper level trough moving cold artic air southward will result in frigid temperatures Tuesday night that look to be below zero. Moisture moves away Wednesday which will lead to clear conditions until Friday as temperatures begin to increase again.
