Forecast Discussion

Due to a ridge of high pressure over our region, skies will remain mostly clear and sunny for the start of our week! As we move into tomorrow, winds will slowly start shifting more towards the east, bringing is more east-southeasterly flow and then soon southeasterlies come Tuesday. Chances of rain showers are slight from Tuesday night into Wednesday as Athens, OH is in the area for general thunderstorms. Relative humidities and dewpoints will slowly increase as we move through the week, slightly returning that muggy feeling we’ve had recently.

Lastly, wildfire smoke from Canada has provided a slight haze the last few days, but no air quality alerts have been issued for our region yet, and has primarily stayed around the central and northeast USA. You can check air conditions on AirNow at any time.
