Moisture on Monday will make storms possible during peak heating times as the day becomes progressively humid with highs in the low 90s. Humidity will peak at night with lows only going into the low 70s as a small chance for showers and storms will remain in the early evening. On Tuesday, a cold front enters the state from the west that will organize precipitation ahead of it. Storms are likely Tuesday and Tuesday night as this band of precipitation rolls through. While severe risk is low, heavy downpours may occur in some storms. The cold frontal boundary will push through on Wednesday as chances for storms are heightened. The possibility for some heavy downpours will continue with storms on Wednesday as well. High pressure slowly approaches south of the region on Thursday that will clear conditions from Thursday through Friday.
