Forecast Discussion

Hazardous Weather Outlook

Tonight will feature cloudy skies and chilly conditions, with a low in the 20s. High pressure builds Monday night into Tuesday, providing drier weather to start out the work week. However, by Wednesday, a cold front and an associated low pressure system will approach from the west, bringing a slight chance for showers throughout the day. Daytime temperatures will fall into the 30s to even 20s behind the front. Precipitation will arrive once again Thursday afternoon through early Friday as an upper level trough moves eastward. Snow showers can be expected since temperatures will be at freezing levels, falling below freezing by Thursday night. Dry weather returns on Friday and will continue through most of Saturday as high pressure builds. Another system brings precipitation chances back to the area Saturday night.
