High pressure will allow tonight and Monday to be mostly dry with partly cloudy skies. However, an extensive system will begin to enter the area Monday night, and skies will become overcast. By Tuesday morning, widespread rain showers will be overhead and are expected to continue all of Tuesday and tamper off overnight. Around an inch to an inch and a half of rain is expected from these all-day showers. However, snow showers behind the system will bring some flurries to the area Wednesday morning.

Thursday, there will be a break in the precipitation with some minor sky-clearing as we await the next system, which will arrive Friday. Friday, rain showers will return.
