Forecast Discussion

High pressure is going to begin to build in overnight tonight and allow for skies to begin to clear. Temperatures will drop to 25 degrees. Monday afternoon will exhibit beautiful sunny skies, and temperatures will slowly climb to the mid-50s. Similar conditions will continue into the middle of the week with the continuation of the high pressure, but afternoon highs will climb as southwesterly flow pulls in warm Gulf of Mexico air as an eventual warm front passes. Wednesday and Thursday temperatures are anticipated to peak in the low-to-mid 70s. Friday, rain showers will return with another low-pressure system passing through.
