Forecast Discussion

A cold front moving through tonight will deliver another round of rain lasting into tomorrow morning. Rainfall accumulations could total between half an inch to an inch, so be wary of flooding, especially during your morning commute. Following this cold front, temperatures will significantly drop, and Monday will see a rapid plummet into the high 20s overnight, making for the first big freeze of the season. However, clouds will clear out, and precipitation remains out of the forecast.

Temperatures will remain quite cold through Tuesday, though sunshine could give a deceiving impression of pleasant weather. Halloween this year looks to be a chilly one, with a high in the upper 40s, and a low in the mid 20s. Winds will also be somewhat breezy, with gusts up to 15 mph. The rest of the week will follow suit, with minimal clouds and colder temperatures. Higher pressure will dominate the patterns for the week, so at the very least, calmer weather can be expected. A more gradual warm-up can be observed near the end of the week, with temperatures rising back into the low 60s.
