Forecast Discussion

Tonight will be humid as cloud cover continues to increase. Precipitation from post-tropical storm Florence will reach the region sometime after 2am tonight. The heaviest precipitation will be On Monday as the center of the low will be over Southeast Ohio. Rain will be heavy for a good duration of the time precipitation is in the area, so flooding is possible, especially along rivers and streams. Rain will cease Monday night as conditions become relatively dry and clear into Tuesday. High pressure will be present late Tuesday that will accelerate cloud clearing as moisture slowly moves out of the region. Upper level ridging will allow for clear conditions to continue until Friday when a cold front looks to move through. Dry air will be behind the front, so showers will be short lived as clear conditions return on Saturday.
