Forecast Discussion
Upper and mid level zonal flow will help promote high pressure tonight and into Friday. Conditions look to be calm and relatively clear throughout Friday. The main topic of interest will be the system that moves in late Friday/early Saturday. Warm frontal snow is expected on Saturday as a low pressure system will be south of the region as it moves eastward. Models show snow accumulation roughly between 1 and 3 inches. Snowfall will be moderate to heavy on Saturday with it lightening up on Sunday as upper level ridging draws closer. High pressure will be promoted through most of the mid Atlantic resulting in cloud clearing and calm conditions starting late Sunday through Tuesday.
