Ahead of this front, an unstable air mass has already produced thunderstorms north of the Athens region and are expected moved in a SE’ly direction through the latter half of the evening. Some of these storms are expected meet severe warned criteria, with damaging winds and large hail being the primary threat. The chance for severe weather will drastically diminish after midnight. After the passage of the cold front in the early morning hours, The high for tomorrow will drop down to around 80 with mostly sunny skies.
