Forecast Discussion
Rain shower chances have diminished across the area, with mostly cloudy skies still taking hold after a cold frontal passage. Cooler air will begin to filter in on Friday along with a tightening pressure gradient, which could potentially lead to some breezy conditions. Other than this, the forecast looks pretty calm as we head into the weekend, despite an upper level trough sitting overhead. This trough will push fairly quick though and make way for ridging as well as surface high pressure as we head into the next work week. The rest of the long term forecast is quite uncertain as to what might develop towards mid week. At the time of writing, it is looking like a broad upper level trough will begin to develop and push into our area, but models are not coming to a general consensus on the timing and intensity.
