Forecast Discussion

Precipitation will continue overnight with winds gusts possible ahead of the frontal boundary. The passing of the warm sector from the low pressure system will give rise to high temperatures in the mid to high 60s. Despite upper level troughing in the north, the region will be in a region of upper level zonal flow. This plus the onset of drier air from the cold front will make the rest of the weekend calm and dry. Moisture looks to move in ahead of a system on Sunday to create possible precipitation. The passage of a cold front on Monday will lower temperatures and bring another period of precipitation.
