Forecast Discussion

The National Weather Service in Charleston, WV has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook in effect from Thursday and Thursday night. Low relative humidity brings a fire threat to the high-pressure system. The high-pressure system passes east Friday morning. Then moisture is expected to arrive Friday afternoon due to southerly flow. A cold front arrives Friday from the west which brings moisture from Friday into Saturday morning. This relieves the fire threat. The cold front brings temperatures around the 50s on Saturday and a low of 20 deg. A high-pressure system once again arrives Sunday which brings dry and pleasant conditions for around 60 to 70 deg. in the early days of the week.
