Temperatures will remain in their above-average ranges of the low- to mid-80s during the day, and come next week, an upper level ridge will be the most prominent weather feature for our region. With consistent high pressure, no cloud cover nor convection, and little-to-no precipitation, Athens’ current D0 (Abnormally Dry) drought level may worsen.

Regardless, the weather will be warm and calm for a football game of the Bobcats vs. the Buckeyes on Saturday!
