The intense drought persists this week. Despite having the chance for rain showers tomorrow evening, it likely will not be enough to put a dent in it. These showers will not last too long into the evening, either. A cold front will bring along these showers as well as a substantial cooling trend these next couple of days. Even though we will return into the upper 80s Tuesday, Saturday through even early Monday morning will make for a much-anticipated cooldown, thankfully.
