Forecast Discussion

Cloud cover will increase gradually tonight as moisture moves in. Storms will be to the west, but are not likely for the region. A developing low pressure system will move in during Thursday that looks to bring showers and thunderstorms for both the afternoon and evening. Some storms could be capable of producing heavy downpours and wind gusts. Storms and showers continue on Friday as a cold front will slowly pass over the region late that night. Precipitation will continue behind the cold frontal boundary on Saturday, but high pressure from the north will slowly move in to stop showers Saturday night and bring in fair and dry weather on Sunday. Upper level disturbances create another low pressure system that will move into the region late Monday.
