Forecast Discussion

Cold air brought from the upper level trough will make for a cool night tonight in the low 50s. Upper level ridging begins to approach the region on Thursday as high pressure moves in from the Southwest. Highs will be in the high 70s. Upper level ridging weakens on Friday, but the day will be rather uneventful as fair weather remains in the area. Late Friday, a mass of moisture will move through leading to a chance of showers late Friday and early Saturday. Moisture will become trapped under an upper level ridge on Sunday that will make for a hot and humid day with a chance of storms in the later afternoon. Moisture remains in the area on Monday that will produce another round of storms in the late afternoon once again.
