Forecast Discussion

Moisture clears out as the night progresses which will reduce chances for storms in the late night. High pressure will be to the south on Thursday that will slowly be pushed east by an incoming cold front. Storms have a small chance of forming Thursday night depending the timing and positioning of the cold frontal boundary. On Friday afternoon, the cold front will push through the region, bringing a narrow band of moisture that will produce scattered storms and showers. Precipitation will move out of the area by Friday night as high pressure looks to settle close by on Saturday. Conditions look to remain clear until Monday when a developing low pressure system will pass over the region from the south.
