Forecast Discussion

A beautiful (but maybe a little hot) weather pattern is still in store for us this week with a short disturbance later on. Tonight will be clear and calm, dropping temperatures down to the mid-30s which may bring some valley fog to the region during the early morning hours. The sun will quickly burn off the fog by late morning and sunny skies will take over bringing the temperature up to around 80 F Thursday. Winds will pick up and come from the south as a warm front lifts through the region. With warm air coming up from the south, Thursday night temperatures will stay rather mild compared to tonight. Lows will only drop to the mid-50s. Friday will also be mostly sunny around 80 F as well, but with the warm front having moved through the region, an isolated afternoon shower or thunderstorm cannot be ruled out.

A brief period of rain will then occur Friday night through Saturday morning before sunny skies and warm temperatures will return for the rest of the weekend.
