The National Weather Service in Charleston, WV has issued a Freeze Warning in effect from October 18 1:00 AM until October 18 10:00 AM EDT

Winds will die down tonight as a cold front moves past the area. While no precipitation is associated with the front, it will bring a wave of dry, cold air that combined with nighttime cooling will bring widespread frost in the morning. Clear skies will keep highs low as calm and clear conditions persist through the end of the work week. Another chance for widespread frost will occur Friday morning as temperatures will be around the freezing point. Rain showers are expected for Saturday as a another cold front will push through mid morning. A secondary front will push through later into Saturday that will bring a second wave of precipitation around the evening. Dry air moves back in on Sunday as skies will clear and stay clear for the beginning of next week.
