Fair conditions are to be expected with the presence of an upper level ridge that will rest over the region through the overnight hours. Convergence aloft will influence heights to rise and winds will be calm from the SW due to the clockwise flow of a persistent high pressure system to the south.

Partly cloudy skies overnight as the ridge begins to slowly move out of the region. Sounding data shows favorability for cloud development in the upper levels of the atmosphere tonight and will likely be scattered. Lows could drop into the lower 40s.

Clouds increasing tomorrow by the afternoon hours as a strong low pressure system will move into the region. The low level jet will be active tomorrow and winds could get up to 20 mph at the surface. Highs will be in the upper 60s. A chance of rain is possible tomorrow during the early evening hours. Strong upper level divergence will allow for moderate rain Thursday night into Friday. Precipitation totals will likely be upwards to half an inch through Friday.

The system clears out Saturday afternoon and a high pressure system will follow and will result in dry conditions for your weekend and early next week.
