Forecast Discussion

Mostly clear skies and calm winds will introduce another chance for fog development in the valley locations overnight and into early Thursday morning. Partly sunny conditions paired with calm surface winds will increase the high temperature for Thursday and Friday into the upper 70s. Cloud cover and low-level moisture will increase Friday night as a cold front quickly advances onto the region. Some rain showers will be possible ahead and along the front itself early Saturday morning and wrapping up by 1-2pm. Some gusty winds and a sharp change in temperature can be expected throughout the day as the high temperature looks to be confined to the low 60s. High pressure quickly fills in for the remainder of Saturday and weekend, introducing much drier and cooler weather. This cooler air will drastically drop Saturday night’s low as it may reach into the mid 30s, offering the first frosting of the Fall.
