Forecast Discussion

A recent cold front will continue to bring in cooler air today. A band of showers is currently moving through West Virginia that isn’t too far off from the area, so a chance for showers will exist this afternoon. Clouds will remain in the area through the day on Thursday. A small chance for showers exist this evening due to a stationary front to the southeast, but uncertainty remains on if rain is possible since high pressure will be off the the northeast. Expect an increased in cloud cover this evening. A cold front will approach the region on Friday. The front will be weak and dry, so showers are not in the forecast. Saturday will be cooler in the high 60s due to the front, but temperatures will slowly work their way back into the mid 70s at the start of the week as fair and calm conditions continue.
