Forecast Discussion

The National Weather Service in Charleston, WV has issued a Flood Watch in effect from now to 10:00am Thursday January 24th.

Rain will continue tonight and turn to snow early Thursday as the cold front continues to push into the region. Due to snow melt and rainfall, areas could experience flooding as the ground remains over saturated. A small chance for snow exists Thursday, but chances will decrease as Friday nears due to the introduction of cold, drier air. Near by systems on Saturday will lead to cloud cover and chances for snow. On Sunday, a disturbance moves through the region that brings in another round of snow showers
