The Cold Weather Advisory issued by the National Weather Service in Charleston, WV remains in effect until 10 am this morning for very cold wind chills.

High pressure in place over the region will keep us dry today, but cold conditions persist. It is very cold this morning, so make sure to bundle up, cover exposed skin, and limit your time outdoors if heading out. Hypothermia and frostbite are a concern if proper precautions are not taken to protect yourself from the cold! It will once again be frigid tonight with a low in the single digits, but on Thursday, temperatures rise to around freezing. Thursday night and Friday night will both still be bitterly cold, but a warm-up for the weekend is on the way. Highs Saturday and Sunday soar into the upper-30s and low-40s.
