Forecast Discussion

Upper level ridging will build into the region overnight that creates high pressure in the Appalachian region early Saturday. This will slowly clear clouds for tomorrow, but will be interrupted as a warm front from a maturing low pressure system will force high pressure out and bring back clouds and a chance for rain Saturday morning. Localized high pressure will remain in the valley region that will stop precipitation from continuing and create clearer conditions Saturday night. Clouds will increase on Sunday as the warm front approaches and it will finally move over the region on Monday bringing in rain and a couple of storms. A cold front will move through Tuesday that brings in drier air on Tuesday.
