Forecast Discussion

A stationary front will linger in the state from now through Wednesday. This will result in consecutive days of rainfall that may be heavy at times. Flooding may be possible through these days. Tonight, the stationary frontal boundary will drift more south, closer to the region resulting in more rain and possible storms later this evening. Clouds and precipitation continue into Monday the stationary front remains near. Storms will be possible Monday afternoon. A more organized low pressure system will makes its way into the region late Monday/ early Tuesday which could lead to more organized storms and rain showers, but the system looks to decay before passing over the area. a stationary front looks to hang over the region through the end of the forecast period resulting in flood risk through this week.
