After Athens, OH received its fair share of freezing rain last night, clouds will remain in the skies for the rest of today and into tonight. Temperatures will slowly warm up, reaching into the lower 50s today with a mostly sunny day tomorrow. As we move into this weekend, there is a slight chance for freezing rain on Saturday morning before shifting to afternoon rains.

At the moment, the National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for the southern half of Athens county until 5:30pm. For the town of Athens, a Hazardous Weather Outlook has been issued for more expected rain Friday through Wednesday.
