Forecast Discussion
Temperatures will steadily rise into the weekend and into early next week. Warmer air will quickly move into the region thanks to the approach of a couple of systems during this time. Today will be one of the last few cooler days for the foreseeable future before we dive headfirst into 90 degree days as we near the end of May. These systems could bring some showers and maybe even a rumble of thunder Saturday afternoon and Tuesday evening into Wednesday. The severity seems quite limited on Saturday, and mid-next week is still quite uncertain, but it doesn’t seem highly likely as of right now. Overall, we can expect somewhat soggy conditions into the coming days as we can expect summer-like temperatures to return and stay for a while.
