A nice conclusion to the last couple of chilly rainy days! It is going to remain relatively calm until Saturday evening, when the cold front approaching from the northwest finally makes its appearance here in Athens; This will bring us a bit of rain into Saturday night/early Sunday morning. After this, however, things get calm once again as an area of high pressure follows closely behind that cold front. It is expected to warm up as we progress into midweek next week, with highs in the upper 60s and lows in the high 30s, which is definitely a change from the usual late-October temperatures.
