Forecast Discussion

Hot conditions are expected to continue as another system moves northeast of the state, bringing warm air from the south up into Ohio. This approaching system will bring breezy conditions and clouds into the region. Clouds will remain partly cloudy during the daytime hours today but will begin to increase overnight. This system will bring the chance for showers and maybe a rumble of thunder Wednesday, primarily in the morning and afternoon, but severe conditions are not expected. Cold air will follow close behind, thankfully cooling temperatures back down into the 70s for the remainder of the week and into the weekend. Another system may return come Friday and Saturday with another round of showers and thunderstorms by then.
