Forecast Discussion

Due to the extensive chances of excessive rainfall throughout the next few days, the National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for Athens County and the surrounding counties. As of now this will be in effect until 8 am tomorrow morning. Stay vigilant when driving around flood prone areas and be wary of flooded sidewalks and roadways.

Tonight we can expect the showers to continue to roll through as our warm front approaches the region. Tomorrow we will warm to the mid-70s with a slight break in the rain in the morning before another round rolls through in the afternoon. Sunday, temperatures will continue to climb as we reach the low-80s with another rainy day in store.
