Forecast Discussion

Due to the approaching winter system the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch which will be in effect 7 am Saturday until 7 am Monday. Heavy snow is expected at times and accumulations between 6 to 12 inches are possible. Start preparing today as travel will be restricted.

Sunshine today with a high around 36, making today the last day in the 30s for the foreseeable future as a cold front will come through tomorrow morning putting us back into the 20s. Tonight will also be the last night with lows in the 20s for the foreseeable future as this weekend and next week we will have overnight lows in the teens and single digits. Due to the cold temperatures, any snowfall we get from the approaching system will likely stick around until we begin to warm up again.
