A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 10 AM this morning until 7 AM Monday morning while the Cold Weather Advisory is expected to expire at 10 AM today. While the main system is not expected to arrive until around 7 PM this evening, we could see some light flurries in the afternoon. Make sure any important electronics are fully charged by this evening in the case your power goes out. While the primary concern for freezing precipitation is to our south, there continues to be a possibility for light accumulation of this frozen precipitation during this storm. Once the storm hits, please refrain from traveling unless absolutely necessary, especially as we rapidly could accumulate snow overnight. By Monday, snow is expected to taper off significantly, bringing back calm conditions once more. However, temperatures are not expected to break above freezing for the foreseeable future, so any snow will persist even after the storm has passed.
