Forecast Discussion

Good evening, Bobcats! A low-pressure system is making its way northeast through Alabama and will continue just south the Appalachian Mountains. With this system will bring us a mix of snow and freezing rain Saturday into Sunday. The temperatures will stay in the 30s the entire weekend. Winds will stay calm and will pick up slightly on Sunday. These snow showers are not expected to give us too much snow, so you shouldn’t expect any plans to be affected by this system.

Into the new week will start off dry Monday, but a 50% chance of rain should be expected Tuesday morning and becoming on-and-off throughout the entire day. Luckily, Tuesday will be slightly warmer than it has been the past couple of days. The chance of snow returns early Wednesday morning.
